Kemptville CIBC partners with Parkinson Canada for fundraising raffle

A local bank is raising money for research into treatments and possible cures for Parkinson’s Disease.

The Kemptville CIBC office is running a raffle this month with all the proceeds going towards Parkinson Canada, a national charity supporting people that suffer from the disease and funding research.

Tish Boyle, a Senior Customer Service Representative at the bank, says a client helped coordinate the fundraiser, and local businesses have donated prizes.

“We’ve got over ten prizes to win, as well as many gift certificates and gift cards,” she says. “The prices for the raffle are one ticket for five dollars, three tickets for ten dollars, and twenty dollars for twenty tickets.”

If you’re interested in taking part, Boyle says you can buy tickets at the CIBC office in Kemptville. “We do have some of the prizes on display,” she adds, “so people can actually see what they can win.”

The winners are being drawn on July 31st.
