Mayor Nancy Peckford is inviting residents to go swimming for free in Kemptville this week.
As of Monday, the Kemptville Public Pool in Riverside Park is open. To celebrate, it’s free to participate in all Family, Public and Adult swimming sessions this week.
If you’ve visited the pool in the past, Peckford says the changing rooms and washrooms are set up differently than normal this year, because of ongoing construction in the pool house.
Peckford also says the splash pad in Riverside Park is nearly ready to go. It’s expected to open in early August.
