Kemptville Youth Centre gears up for Jail 'n' Bail, MyView Film Festival

For the month of February, the Kemptville Youth Centre is extending their hours. John Barclay says the youth centre received a little boost to their funding so they decided to open on Saturdays from 1 to 6pm. This should make the youth centre more accessible to those who were thinking of checking out their programs but haven’t been able to make it over after school due to transportation issues or other commitments. The youth centre also has some regular after school programming for which they are seeking volunteer mentors:

The Kemptville Youth Centre is gearing up for their next big fundraising event, the Jail and Bail. John Barclay explains:

Planners are needed for the 3rd Annual Jail and Bail on April 1st. The KYC would love to see a jailbird from every church, business and service group in North Grenville. Call 258-5212 for more info.

If you have some great ideas for the MyView Youth Film Festival but you need some help with the technical side of things, John Barclay of the Kemptville Youth Centre can help you out.

There are a number of great prizes to be one in the film festival, with a grand prize of $1000. Find out more at www.myviewfilmfest.ca.
