Municipality of North Grenville creating three new advisory committees

Some more community volunteers will be brought on to help direct North Grenville municipal council’s decision making soon.

The Municipality of North Grenville has approved the creation of three new Advisory Committees, groups made up of residents that help inform policy decisions.

The new committees will be centered around housing, Indigenous issues, and “Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.” 

Council approved the decision to create the committees, and to begin accepting applications to join them, at Tuesday’s meeting.

Two other existing advisory committees, for Heritage and Property Standards, will also be accepting new member applications.
