Business owners in North Grenville are being invited to contribute to a Habitat for Humanity project as a team-building exercise with their employees.
Spring and summer “Habitat Build Days” for Kemptville Korners, an affordable housing development being made by the Greater Ottawa and Thousand Islands branches of the organization, are now open for booking.
According to the organization’s website, Habitat Build Days are designed for corporate groups of up to 10 people, where all the participants spend a work day together helping construct one of the development’s 15 planned affordable housing units.
Other groups of volunteers, like large families or social circles, can also sign up for a build day, and organizers say you don’t need any prior construction experience.
