Grenville County OPP have charged a local couple with numerous drug related charges. Shortly after 7 o’clock this morning, members of the drug enforcement unit executed a drug warrant at 132 Prescott Street in Kemptville. A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of 549.8 grams of marihuana, 91.1 grams of cocaine, 12.5 grams of MDMA, 207 hydro morphone pills and Canadian currency. The two occupants were arrested at the scene and taken to the station.
29-year-old Derek James Robert Crowell and 22-year-old Megan Vogelgesang of Kemptville are charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime along with two counts of breach of recognizance. The two are being held in custody awaiting a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice, Brockville.
