With February on the horizon, the organizers of the Kemptville Winter Carnival have begun announcing programing details for the festival.
The finalized operating hours for the event, which was originally scheduled for last winter before being postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, have been announced on social media.
Organizers say residents will be able to attend between 3:00 and 8:00 PM on February 3rd, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on the 4th, and from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on the 5th.
A few attractions that will be at the carnival have also been announced, including several vendors and businesses that will be there as well as a fire dance by Montreal-based performer Kaylie Kreatrix.
According to organizers, the event will be completely free to attend.
It’s happening in Riverside Park, and the weekend from February 10th to 12th has been set as the rain date in case of bad weather.
