Parents of young children can now start signing their kids up to start school.
The Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) has announced that Kindergarten registration is now open for the 2023-24 school year.
Kids become eligible for Kindergarten during the year they turn four years old. In order to register, you’ll need to provide proof of their age, like a birth certificate, as well as proof of their address, like a utility bill.
What school your child will be eligible to attend will depend on your address.
If you live close to multiple schools, UCDSB staff members say many will be hosting information sessions for families to learn more about them.
A list of those schools, with details for when the info sessions are happening and how to take part, is being maintained on the UCDSB website.
