Oxford Mills Waste Transfer Stations collecting Christmas trees throughout January

With the holiday season over, residents will be able to get rid of their Christmas trees for free starting this week.

The Municipality of North Grenville has announced that the Oxford Mills Waste Transfer Station will be accepting the trees throughout the month of January.

According to the announcement, there’s no fee to drop your tree off, but you need to remove any tinsel or decorations first.

Municipal staff members also say no trees will be picked up curbside this year.
