Connect Youth thanks BCI, Crossfit Kemptville for donations

Staff members at Connect Youth are thanking a school in South Grenville and a gym in North Grenville for their contributions to help struggling kids and teens in the area.

The organization, a Prescott-based charity that runs after-school drop in programs and assists homeless youth in the Leeds-Grenville region with housing, has received donations from Crossfit Kemptville and the Brockville Collegiate Institute.

Both the gym and the school donated items like clothing, backpacks and water bottles that can go towards disadvantaged kids the organization supports.

“Your efforts are so appreciated,” a social media post from Connect Youth reads, “and these items will go to great use over the holiday season.”

If you’re interested in contributing to the organization yourself, donations are currently being collected ahead of its annual “Coldest Night of the Year” fundraising and awareness initiative.
