With snow on the ground and the New Year on the horizon, the organizers of a new family friendly event in Kemptville are looking for people to help run it.
Volunteer applications are being accepted for the 2023 Kemptville Winter Carnival.
The carnival, which was originally scheduled for earlier this year before being postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions, is now set to happen from February 3rd to 5th next year.
Volunteers are needed to help set up and tear down decorations, direct traffic and coordinate parking, and take photos for social media, alongside other responsibilities.
People trained in CPR and first aid are also needed for the event.
According to organizers, high school students who volunteer will be able to put the time they spend towards their community service hours for graduation.
