Submissions open for Ontario Fish and Wildlife’s “Kids Fish Art Contest” till December 31st

Young artists have a chance to get their work featured in the 2024 Ontario Fishing Regulations.

Ontario Fish and Wildlife is accepting submissions for its 20th annual “Kids Fish Art Contest.”

Entrants are asked to create illustrations, paintings or other artistic interpretations of a species of fish in its natural habitat. Three winners are chosen, divided by age groups, and the winners receive fishing gear and art supplies.

This year, participants can choose to create art featuring either a lake trout or a longnose gar. Any students in grades four through twelve can take part.
