A local youth organization is looking for a new volunteer to join its Board of Directors.
Staff members with the Kemptville Youth Centre, a nonprofit organization that runs after school programs, employment workshops and other programs for local teens and kids, say the organization is looking for a new prospective President of the Board.
“We are searching for someone with unique perspectives,” a social media post from the organization reads, “who can bring influence to the table and provide guidance.”
You can apply until December 20th. No past experience on a Board of Directors is necessary. If you’re selected to join, you’ll be expected to spend some time serving on the Board before a vote decides whether you become President.
