St. Lawrence-Rideau Immigration Partnership hosting “Diversity Day” this December

The St. Lawrence-Rideau Immigration Partnership is inviting Leeds-Grenville residents to an event where they can learn more about what attracts immigrants to the region.

The organization, which helps local immigrants by connecting them with services like employment agencies and English tutors, is hosting a free seminar called “Diversity Day” at the beginning of December.

According to members of the Partnership, the main topic of the seminar will be “the attraction and retention of immigrants and international students to Leeds and Grenville,” with local figures and members of the community expected to take part.

Networking opportunities and a free lunch are also being provided to attendants. Diversity Day is being hosted at the Heritage Hall in Kemptville on December 7th, and it’s free to take part in. You can find more information or sign up to take part on Eventbrite.
