You’ll have a chance to get rid of any leaves, pinecones and lawn trimmings cluttering up your front yard next week.
The Municipality of North Grenville will be collecting yard waste curbside from Monday, November 7th, until the end of the day on Friday, November 11th.
Municipal staff say you’ll be able to pick up special bag tags for the waste at the North Grenville Municipal Centre, or Jonsson’s Independent Grocer, for one dollar each. They’re also available for purchase online, but they’ll take a few days to arrive at your house.
Stumps, rocks, and tree cuttings more than two inches thick won’t be accepted. You also won’t be able to get rid of any treated wood products, and you’ll need to use either paper bags or reusable bins instead of normal garbage bags.
