Last chance to say goodbye to CHEO’s Mollypenny approaching

The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario’s (CHEO) therapeutic clown is going home in a few days, but kids and families still have time to say goodbye.

Mollypenny, who has been helping patients and their families since 2001, will be leaving CHEO at the end of October.

If you or your child ever benefited from Mollypenny’s company while at the hospital, staff say you have a few options to give her message, drawing or other token of appreciation before she “blasts off for good.”

If you want to give her something physical, you can drop your item off at CHEO’s main entrance, or send it by mail to 401 Smyth Road in Ottawa.

There’s also a public, online platform called Kudoboard you can use to see tributes people have sent to Mollypenny and add your own. You can view it here.

The deadline to say goodbye is Monday, October 31st.
