Oxford Mills restaurant hosting fundraising fashion show for KDH Foundation

A local restaurant and clothing store are partnering to raise money for the Kemptville District Hospital (KDH).

The Brigadoon Restaurant in Oxford Mills will be hosting the “Enchanted Fashion Show” fundraising event, with clothing provided by Jac’s Boutique in Kemptville.

Tickets to the event cost $50 each, with proceeds going towards the KDH Foundation.

Foundation Coordinator Kristy Carriere says the foundation’s money goes towards supplementing government funding for buying and maintaining the hospital’s medical equipment.

“Government funding alone cannot supply all the equipment needed,” Carriere says. “KDH depends on the generosity of community donors to fund lifesaving equipment.”

Carriere says a silent auction, featuring items donated by local businesses, will also be at the fundraiser.

If you’re interested in attending, it’s happening November 14th, from 12:30 to 2:30 PM, and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Carriere says you can purchase tickets at either the restaurant or the boutique.
