Family and Children’s Services of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville hosting snowsuit donation campaign

A local organization is calling for donations to get snowsuits into the hands of kids who might not normally get them in the winter.

Family and Children’s Services of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville, which helps facilitate adoptions, foster care, child protective services, and more, is running its annual “snowsuit campaign.”

Monetary donations are being put towards buying snowsuits, which will be distributed in Smiths Falls, Carleton Place, and Perth on November 5th and 12th to households in need. In a social media post, a member of the organization says some will also be distributed in Brockville, but a date hasn’t been finalized yet.

If you’re interested in donating to the campaign, you can find details for how to send money on Family and Children’s Services of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville’s website. The organization will also be accepting donations of new snowsuits at its Brockville and Smiths Falls offices before the distribution dates.
