North Grenville commuters who frequent River Road might want to rethink their routes for the rest of September.
The Municipality is partially closing a stretch of the road, near Barnes Island and west of Muldoon Road, in order to repair and rehabilitate the culverts there.
While that work is being done, that stretch will be one-lane only during the daytime, and its speed limit will be reduced to 40 kilometres per hour during construction.
Municipal staff say the stretch will be fully open during the nighttime. The work is expected to wrap up on September 29th.
