Kemptville Public School “kindergarten welcome packages” now available

With the first day of school in the Upper Canada District School Board next week, some useful items are now available to local parents whose kids are starting kindergarten.

“Kindergarten welcome packages” can be picked up this week at the Kemptville Public School’s office.

If you have a child starting school this fall, the package includes some information about their teacher and what you’ll need to send with your child on their first day.

It also includes a “bus tag” that’ll be used to sort young children into the correct lines at school, and other busing information.

Parents are being asked to attach the tag to their kids’ backpacks, so teachers and staff can easily see them.

You can visit the school to pick up your child’s welcome package any day this week between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM. The first day of school is next Tuesday, September 6th.
