The Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) is giving away some items to help a family with their child’s transition into kindergarten.
The board is holding a giveaway for a “UCDSB prize pack” on its Facebook page.
The package includes easy-to-read childrens’ books, coloring books, a water bottle, and some other items for young children.
Parents can enter if their kids are going into either Junior or Senior kindergarten, and if they win, their child will receive the prize pack during the first week of school.

Two winners will be selected, and the deadline to enter the giveaway is August 30th at 4:00 PM. You can see details for how to enter on the UCDSB’s Facebook page.
The first day of the 2022-23 school year is September 6th.
