Six different locations in Kemptville will be accepting donations to the Salvation Army Food Bank as part of an initiative from Kemptville Retirement Living later this month.
The retirement community is organizing a “drive through” fundraiser for the organization.
In addition to non-perishable food, donations of other items like baby products, feminine hygiene products and pet food will also be accepted during the event.
You’ll be able to drop items off at the Kemptville Starbucks, The Station on County Road 43, Cranberry Hill Animal Hospital, The Score, JJ’s Shawarma, and Blooming Smiles Dental.
The drive through fundraiser is happening August 29th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
If you want to donate, the Kemptville Salvation Army’s Facebook page has a list of needed items, like granola bars, white and brown rice and canned fruit.
