Commuters who travel to and from Hallville might need to adjust their route for the next two weeks.
The United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry is replacing a culvert on Reids Mills Road, to make space for a planned walking path in a park being built in the village.
While that work is being done, the road will be closed between Kerr’s Ridge and Loughlin Ridge Roads to non-local traffic, and a detour will be set up that takes drivers along Loughlin Ridge, Boundary Road, and County Road 43.
The work starts on August 8th and is expected to finish on the 19th. You can see a satellite map of where the closure is happening and the detour route on the Township of North Dundas’ website.
