You’ll need to wait a few extra days before you can try borrowing a kayak in Chesterville.
With thunderstorms in the forecast for Tuesday, the Township of North Dundas is delaying the start of its new kayak lending program.
The initiative, announced in June, allows people to take a free, one-hour paddle up the South Nation River from the Chesterville boat launch on select dates this summer.
The first date for the program is now Thursday, July 14th, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. After that, it’s being held every other Wednesday, from July 27th to September 14th.
