The local branch of Habitat for Humanity has a charity fundraiser coming up in February. As Martin van Andel explains, the “Share the Love Kemptville” Art Exhibition and Auction has two purposes:
You don’t have to be a professional artist to take part in this important event. Artists of any age or background are asked to contribute pieces that will hang in Geronimo Coffee House for the month of February.
The event is meant to raise awareness around the issue of insecure housing in our community, while raising funds so that Habitat for Humanity can eventually build another home for a needy family in North Grenville.
