People looking to replace their computers, phones and tablets have a new way to prevent their old devices from turning into E-waste.
Alltec Solutions, a tech support company that works in the North Grenville and North Dundas area, has launched a new charity program called “Alltec Refresh.”
The initiative collects old and unwanted electronics and donates them to the House of Lazarus, a nonprofit organization that supports local low-income families with food banks and affordable housing.
“We hope that this will encourage more people to donate through professional data removal and even offer a free data migration to a new device you have purchased if you decide to donate your old one,” the announcement of the new program reads.
If you want to donate through the initiative, there’s an online form you can fill out on the Alltec Solutions website.
