A local Red Cross affiliate is hosting a course for kids interested in learning about taking care of younger children.
Helping Hands First Aid, an organization that offers first aid and youth home safety courses throughout eastern Ontario, is running a Red Cross babysitting seminar at the Kemptville Public Library later this month.
The course will cover topics like infant care, basic first aid, and how to safely make money from babysitting.
It’s open to anyone age 11 or older, but younger kids can also take part as long as they’ve completed fifth grade.
It’s happening on July 20th. To learn more and see registration prices, visit Helping Hands First Aid’s website.
