Don’t expect to be able to drive through Prescott Street this Sunday afternoon.
The route for North Grenville Pride’s 2022 parade, announced Monday morning, will see participants moving through the stretch of the street between Alumni Drive and Reuben Crescent North.
After that, the parade will move onto Reuben Crescent, before ending outside Riverside Park.
Melissa Button, a member of North Grenville Pride helping to organize the parade, says more than 300 people are expected to take part.
“This will be an epic day full of love, inclusion and acceptance,” she says.
If you want to see the parade, it begins at 1:00 PM Sunday. Anyone participating is being asked to meet at 830 Heritage Drive in Kemptville before 12:30 to get set up.
