A series of weekly outdoor parties on the streets of North Dundas is coming back after a two-year hiatus because of the pandemic.
The township has announced the return of “Meet Me on Main Street,” an annual celebration that began in 2017 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Canada’s confederation.
This year, parties are being held every Wednesday from June 29th to August 3rd, in a new North Dundas community every week.
Each event will feature live music performed by local artists like Ottawa’s Ken Workman as well as craft breweries like Johnstown’s Windmill Brewery. Other local groups like Southgate Church will also have a presence at some of the parties.
Every party in the series will run from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. The first is happening on June 29th in Hallville. To see a full schedule and breakdown of what bands and breweries will be at each event in the series, visit the Township of North Dundas’ Facebook page.
