A local entrepreneur is holding a fundraiser to commemorate the life of late Brewed Awakenings owner Kika Smith.
The owner of Susie M’s Hidden Treasures, a boutique shop for antiques in Kemptville, is organizing an afternoon tea and coffee party at her shop.
Tickets start at $5.
All of the proceeds from the event are going towards Beth Donovan Hospice, a local long-term care home.
The money is being donated in memory of Smith, who passed away earlier this year after battling cancer.
In addition to the drinks, snacks from Brewed Awakenings will also be available, including some gluten free options.
It’s happening on May 14th, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, at Susie M’s Hidden Treasures.
