Despite two straight wins, the Kemptville 73s couldn’t hold back the Renfrew Wolves in game 6 of the Central Canada Hockey League playoffs.
The team lost in Kemptville 5-1 on Thursday night.
The team had previously lost the first three games in the playoff series, but won game four at home, 6-5, and game five on the road in a 2-1 double-overtime finish.
North Grenville Mayor Nancy Peckford is showing her support for the team. “Congrats on a season well played,” she says.
“We were proud to come out and support you [at game six], and look forward to the 2022-23 season.”
