A group of college students studying to become social service workers have organized a fundraiser to help create housing in our community.
The Social Service Worker class at St. Lawrence College is holding an online auction for the House of Lazarus.
Handmade items like necklaces and earrings, a gift certificate for an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen, and a one-night stay at a Winchester bed and breakfast are some of the things you can bid on.
The money raised at the auction is going towards the House of Lazarus’ Places for People project, providing affordable housing for people in our region.
Bids are open for the auction until April 16th. The House of Lazarus Facebook page has a link to view the items you can bid on.
