Parents with kids ages 6 to 13 will be able to sign them up for YMCA summer camps in our region soon.
Registration opens tomorrow in Kemptville, Prescott, Brockville and Kingston.
All four locations are offering “Y-Athlete” sports camps, where kids will have the chance to play games like basketball, badminton and volleyball against other children around their age, and “Urban Pathfinder” outdoor camps to teach kids about hiking and nature.
“ARTisan Club” camps for kids who want a creative outlet are also being held in all four municipalities.
The camps are being held throughout July and August.
They’re being held at the Kemptville Curling Club, Prescott’s Centennial Park, and the Brockville and Kingston YMCA buildings.
