Downtown BIA announces return of “Easter Bunny Hop” April 9th

After a two-year hiatus, kids will be able to celebrate Easter in downtown Kemptville again next month.

The Old Town Kemptville Business Improvement Area (BIA) has announced the return of the annual “Easter Bunny Hop.”

This year, some businesses in the downtown area will be giving “Easter goodies” to kids that stop in their storefronts, according to BIA Executive Director Deron Johnston.

“Participating businesses will have a special sign in their window indicating that they are participating,” he says.

Other activities for kids are also in the works, like a coloring contest, scavenger hunt, and some themed activities at the North Grenville Public Library.

“There are also rumours that the Easter Bunny may make an appearance during the festivities,” Johnston says, “and will be available for photos at the Big Adirondack Chair at Rotary Park at 10:00 AM.”

The event starts at 10:00 in the morning on April 9th, and will last until 1:00 PM.
