COVID vaccines staying mandatory for Winchester District Memorial Hospital employees

The provincial vaccine mandate for hospital workers is ending on March 14th, but one of our local hospitals isn’t changing its policy.

“To maintain safety for patients, staff and visitors,” says Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH) Communications Lead Jane Adams, “WDMH will continue to require full COVID-19 vaccination for all staff, physicians, volunteers, visitors, learners, and vendors.”

Adams says people with medical or human rights exemptions still won’t need to be vaccinated.

MyKemptvilleNow.com has reached out to other hospitals in our region to learn whether they’ll continue their vaccine mandates for workers past March 14th.
