Kemptville 73's captain Cody Hendsbee named Player of the Week by CCHL

He’s baaaaack! After being out for nine weeks with an injury, the Kemptville 73’s Cody Hendsbee has just been named Corporate Hype / CCM Player of the Week by the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL). Hendsbee helped guide the 73’s to a perfect 3-0 with wins over the Nepean Raiders, Cornwall Colts and league-leading Carleton Place Canadians last week. The 73’s captain accumulated 6 points (1 goal; 5 assists) and earned a first game star. The Richmond, Ontario native and future Robert Morris University student just returned to the Kemptville line-up after sitting out nine weeks with an injury. He is tied for 3rd in overall scoring for defensemen with 31 pts in 26 games, and is keeping the 73’s in the hunt for 5th overall in league standings. Welcome back, Mr. Hendsbee.
