This is Snowmobile Safety Week across Ontario. OPP are reminding snowmobile enthusiasts not to drink and drive, as alcohol was a contributing factor in all three of the snowmobile deaths so far this year. Two of those victims were also not wearing their helmets. There was a total of 21 snowmobile deaths across Ontario last season, with speed found to be the primary cause in 11 of them.
