Be wary if you receive a phone call from someone claiming to be from the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit.
The organization says it’s heard reports that someone has been calling people within the community, impersonating a Health Unit employee.
Details haven’t been revealed by the health unit, but the organization says if you ever receive a real phone call from it, the person on the line will fully identify themselves. If you’re ever suspicious of a phone call you’ve received from someone claiming to be working with the health unit, the organization says you can call its main line to confirm if the call was real.
