The Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH) had to postpone its planned “Murder Mystery Night” event, but its fundraising auction is going forward next month.
The auction features items like a gift basket of liquor from the LCBO, gift certificates donated by local businesses, and a voucher for an axe-throwing party for six from Ottawa’s Lumberjaxe. All the money from the auction is going towards the WDMH Foundation’s Family Care Fund, which helps the hospital replace old and outdated equipment.
Bidding opens on February 7th, and will stay open until the 14th at 12:00 PM. The hospital’s Manager of Direct Mail and Events, Justine Plummer, says more items will be added before bidding starts. To see the items available now, and updates on new items added, visit the hospital’s Facebook page.
