Ottawa 67's host fundraiser for Smiths Falls Bears' Neil Doef

The Ottawa 67′s held a special fundraiser Sunday afternoon, for Smiths Falls Bears hockey player Neil Doef. The 17-year-old suffered a severe spinal injury in a recent game but last week he had regained some feeling and movement in his lower extremities. Smiths Falls Bears players were in attendance at the game to accept donations. Proceeds of the 50/50 draw during the 67’s game were also donated to the #doefstrong campaign.
The Canadian Junior Hockey League has announced that the CJHL Prospects Game in Oakville tomorrow will be used to help raise funds for Doef.
