Kemptville Santa Claus Parade returns after one-year hiatus November 20th

The Municipality of North Grenville has announced the details for this year’s Kemptville Santa Claus Parade. The parade, scheduled for November 20th this year, has been an annual tradition in Kemptville for nearly fifty years, but wasn’t held last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year’s parade is moving along a four kilometre route, beginning at the Kemptville Campus and moving from Concession Road through Hurd Street, Clothier Street, and finally Prescott Street before returning to the Campus. The event is expected to last around two hours, starting at 4:00 PM.

The parade is being organized by the Kemptville District Community Association (KDCA), a community non-profit organization that began running events in 2018. The KDCA is still looking for volunteers, sponsors, and participants for the parade. Visit their Facebook page for more details, and to sign up to volunteer or participate.
