The deadline to give your input on what our community should do with the $100,000 it won from ParticipACTION earlier this year is approaching.

The Municipality of North Grenville was named “Canada’s Most Active Community” as part of ParticipACTION’s Community Better Challenge, a contest where people in participating communities logged their physical activity over the course of June, and the most active municipalities won cash prizes.

The prize money is being put towards creating “recreational opportunities that will promote ongoing physical activity in the community,” according to the municipality website.

A public survey is available to give your input on what the money should be used for, on the North Grenville website. The survey is only available until October 31st.
