Registration open for 2021 Leeds Grenville Economic Development Summit

Small business owners and people invested in our community’s economy can look forward to next month’s Leeds Grenville Economic Development Summit. Registration for the event opened as of October 12th.

The Summit will feature Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes MP Michael Barrett, MPP Steve Clark, as well as representatives from local businesses and members of the Leeds Grenville Economic Development Office.

The schedule for this year’s event, which is being held online due to the pandemic, hasn’t been finalized yet. Last year’s Summit, also held online, saw presentations from members of the Economic Development Office and open forums, where people who attended could give their opinions on the community’s direction in terms of new opportunities, tourism, and more.

The Summit is scheduled for November 19th. Tickets cost $15. Additionally, packages including food from local producers in Kemptville, Brockville, Merrickville and Spencerville are also available, ranging from $25 to $75 in price. Visit the Leeds Grenville website to purchase a ticket.
