Ottawa OPP are investigating an incident that happened on the 417 this afternoon. Around 1:45 pm a flat bed tractor trailer hit the overpass at Moodie Drive. The trailer dropped construction equipment on the highway. That debris has since been removed but one lane of the 417 will be closed for some time this afternoon for repairs. The Ministry of Transportation will inspect the overpass. The collision is under investigation and the OPP would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it by calling 613-270-9171.
