Mr. Bowlby’s Grade 7 and 8 class from Gananoque Intermediate & Secondary School travelled to Toronto to attend the Toronto International Film Festival TIFF Kids on April 17. McKenna’s Dream: An Animated Film was a Finalist for Jump Cuts Shorts Grade 7 and 8. McKenna’s dad noted on the McKenna’s Dream Facebook page after the event that although the film didn’t win in its category, it was a great experience and he thanks Mr. Bowlby and the 27 kids involved for making a difference.
