The Knights of Columbus will be out and about the next two weeks collecting food.
They will be outside the Independent and Walmart in Kemptville Saturday the 5th and 12th to top off their food bank. Dave Habberjam with the knight of Columbus says any food you can donate is welcome. He says they distribute through their network and gives out two weeks’ worth of food. He says they don’t turn people away. Habberjam encourages anyone who is in need of food to reach out to the Knights. He says they offer delivery for those who need help but don’t have a vehicle.
Habberjam says they help 3-to-5 families a month but have stopped other programs this year due to COVID concerns.
