80 KM/H Wind Gusts Predicted for Sunday, Says Environment Canada

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement regarding high winds for Sunday.

The weather service is predicting a cold front to pass through the region in the late afternoon which could create wind gusts of up to 80 KM/H. They are warning of possible power outages and breaking tree branches. Winds are expected to ease Monday morning.

Areas affected include Prescott, Kemptville, Merrickville-Wolford and Brockville. Gananoque and Charleston Lake regions are also affected.
