There has been a fatal house fire in Winchester. Just before 11:30 last night, OPP officers were called to a report of a house fire on Sesame Street in the Village of Winchester. North Dundas Fire Department members were on scene to extinguish the fire. Further investigation led to the discovery of human remains of one victim inside the home. The identity of the victim has not yet been released. Investigators from the Ontario Fire Marshall, OPP and the Coroner’s Office continue the investigation.
