At the inaugural meeting of the new North Grenville Municipal Council on Monday, Director of Planning and Development Forbes Symon brought forward a resolution for the municipality to act as funding applicant on behalf of the Kemptville Live Music Festival.

The municipality is applying to the Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund for the festival because the fund requires the applicant to be incorporated for more than one year. The Kemptville Live Music Festival happens July 24 to 26, 2015.
Forbes Symon brought forward a resolution for the municipality to act as a funding applicant on behalf of the festival, and Tim Sutton made the motion.
