The St. Michael Catholic High School Special Olympic Team competed in the Four Corners Special Olympics Ontario Bocce Ball Qualifier on Tuesday Dec. 3rd at the Louis Riel Dome in Ottawa. There were 16 high schools from across Eastern Ontario participating. The Mustangs played extremely well with 2 wins and 1 tie. They find out in the New Year if they will be heading to the Provincial Championships in Toronto in June. Special mention goes out to Jillian Simpson, Domenic and Giacomo Astorino, Kurtis Parent, Matthew Cadney, and Ben Sunderland for displaying such poise and accuracy during the competition. Also an extra special mention to the St. Michael students who volunteered to help Special Olympic Ontario with this event.
